Ian Poulter WITB

Ian Poulter

Ian Poulter is an Englishman golfer, born on January 10th, 1976 in Hitchin, United Kingdom. As a professional golfer, Ian has seen many achievements, rising to the rank of number 5 in the world at the peak of his career. The Ian Poulter ‘bag’ has been helpful to his success in the craft.

From the Titleist H2 to Project X LZ 7.0, the Ian Poulter WITB 2020 has been one of the most loaded golf bags of the season. It’s a great collection of clubs, shafts, and balls that have aided him on his journey. He was the winner of the 2010 WGC Accenture Match Play Championship and the WGC HSBC Championship in 2012.

To get a clearer picture of WITB for Ian Poulter, keep on reading as we look at the golf balls and shafts among other items in his bag.

Ian Poulter WITB 2020?

Whilst 2020 was not the most successful year for Ian, his bag was loaded with some of the best products. Poulter uses the golf clubs used by top golfers including the 3 Wood Titleist and the Scotty Cameron putter.

Below is a full list of the products in Poulter’s bag:

Poulter’s Driver

For the year 2020, Poulter remained loyal to the Titleist TSi3 9.5° with A2 SureFit settings. He has also been loyal to the Mitsubishi CK-Pro Orange shaft. The Orange 60 TX shafts work perfectly with the Titleist 917 F2 as well.

Poulter’s 3 Wood

Poulter uses the TSi2 16.5° Titliets as 2020 saw him using the degrees A2 SureFit setting with the Matrix Ozik TP 7 HD X shaft. With the 3 wood Titleist, players don’t have to worry about the type of golf ball used.

Poulter’s 7-Wood

One of the options that Ian has opted for in the 7 wood category is the Wood Titleist 917 F2 with the Aldila Tour Green shaft. Just like the Mitsubishi Ck Pro Orange on the driver, the Aldila Tour Green shaft works perfectly on 7-woods.

Poulter’s Hybrids

The hybrid clubs he used for 2020 were the same as the 7 wood Titleist 816 H2 21. For the shaft, he opted for the Aldila Tour Green Hybrid 85. This shaft works perfectly with Titleist 816 H2 21. He also had the Hybrid Titleist 816 H2 in the bag with the Aldila Tour Green Hybrid.

Poulter’s 4 Iron

The Titleist U500 has been the first choice for Ian for the past few years and is still his choice in 2021. For the club, he uses the 21 degrees A1 SureFit setting, which works well for ball Titleist Pro V1X.

Poulter’s Irons (5-PW)

The other important piece of equipment in Poulter’s bag is the Titleist 718 AP2. This iron club works well with Project X LZ 7.0. Being a shaft lover, Ian gets his drive from the Project X LZ 7.0 and the Matrix Ozik TP7HD X shafts.

Poulter’s Wedges

For the wedges, Poulter likes the Titleist Vokey Design, which he brought to 2021. He has used the Vokey Design Wedgeworks 60-A. For the Shafts, the Vokey Design Wedgeworks is paired with the Dynamic Gold Tour Issue. The Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue is the perfect shaft for these wedges.

Poulters’s Putter

Ian uses the Odyssey Stroke Lab 7 for putter equipment (White Hot Face Insert Grips ) with the Ozik TP7HD X shaft.

Poulter’s Ball

During the European Tour, the Titleist Pro V1 X was the go-to golf ball in 2020. The ball Titleist Pro V1X was also found instrumental in the PGA tour alongside the 14F Titleist Vokey Design equipment.

Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Shafts

The True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue shafts are amongst the most tolerant. Originally only available to tour players, they are now open to all players including the Ryder cup.

Here are the best Dynamic Gold Tour Shafts:

  • The Tampered Tip 355
  • Two set option available in 3PW and 4PW
  • Long Iron and Pitching Wedge shafts

The Gold Tour shafts have similarities to the Ozik TP7HD X Shaft and can be used on 3 Wood Titleist 917 and others.

Why Does Ian Poulter Use a Titleist Vokey Design Wedgeworks?

In his bag, Ian has always maintained 14F Titleist Vokey Design options. In 2020, he used the Titleist 718 AP2, the Titleist Pro V1X, the Titleist Vokey Design Wedgeworks, and the Hybrid Titleist 816 H2. Ian loves the Titleist Vokey Design Wedgeworks since they work well with shafts such as Project X, the CK Pro Orange 60 TX, and the Odyssey Stroke Lab 7.

What is the Golf Ball Titleist Pro Golfers Use?

For every golfer, it is advisable to have a Titleist Pro V1X ball if the 3 Wood Titleist 917 club or any other Titleist club is in the bag. Further, the Matrix Ozik TP7HD X should be in the bag for a regular staff player. For a staff player, the bag should not be overloaded with unnecessary tools.

Ian Poulter WITB for a Pitching Wedge?

For a Pitching Wedge, Ian does not use a specific shaft. He has shifted between many options for the past three years but the Ozik TP has always been his favourite. There is no need to use Ian Poulter’s email address to get access to WITB. All the products he uses are available in the market and can be used by all golfers.
